As the title reads, trying to get some input on whether the frame would need to be pinched.
Won’t be channeling the body over the frame.
    Idea is a 30s gow.

  2. More information as to exactly where you plan to pinch it. Is this going to be Fad T style or? It's also going to depend on where your mounting the Body in relation to the stock A front body mount holes. I have a 27 T on a Model A frame and Banger powered. I pinched the rails about mid way and trimmed off the ears on the rear crossmember.

Basically I’m looking to do this, but with a whole touring body. The rear crossmember and frame rail widths are my concern. If I can get by without pinching the rails, that’s what I would prefer. CEE7DBA1-2BE5-4692-8B23-6BD3C37D83CF.jpeg

  4. I see now the direction you want to go. Just bolting a T Body on an A complete chassis. No, I don't see any reason to pinch the frame. It may run off and outside the Body at the very rear of it but so what. If it does it won't be much. Your going to need to drill new holes to mount things together so if it were me I'd try to drill mount holes in the body that match existing mount holes in the Chassis.

  5. Here's a couple photos of my 27 on an A chassis. Not sure how close the early T's are to 26-7 but in your case you might be able to use the A rear body mount as is. I don't remember how much I cut off but it wasn't much. Guess I could go measure and tell ya if interested.
