Anyone know a ballpark initial setting for the adjustment screw on top of the carb in a 1925 Ford Model T? The rod goes up into the car up under the dash. Just trying to get a good starting point to work from. Thanks

Depends on the type of carb, some were Holley's, like the NH, others made by Kingston, like the Model L-4.... none of them are very sophisticated, as they are all "puddle" carbs, where the intake air is pulled across a "puddle" of fuel in the gravity fed bowl... If you're talking about the choke rod that also controls the idle mix, then I would just start with a "halfway" measure first... seat the screw (not too hard) then open up the screw until it comes out, counting turns. Divide by half, and return the screw that number of turns. That should get you running... good luck, let me know how you make out :D
