Video of the silent film demo for the "Fordson Snow Motor", rumored to be Henry Ford himself driving the vehicles. If this has been on here before, I apologize. I sure have never seen anything like it. (it might be slow to load, but well worth it.)

I expect some of you "geniuses" to have a sedan outfitted with a pair by next winter.

cool, but the Russian's wasn't 1926 with Henry Ford at the wheel... I was impressed with the early film because of it's vintage. I wonder why it didn't catch on, especially in snow country logging.

Wouldn't that concept work on water as well?

    Opinions?

  9. I've seen the film before and read some advertising copy. The only connection with the Ford Motor co. as far as I can tell is that the tractor part was a Ford product. Everything else was some other company. The driver was not henry Ford. The concept is stunning in it's simplicity and it's functionality. I can't see how it failed to attract investors. Maybe Ford chose not to sell them the partial tractors that they needed. But some other tractor company could have stepped forward. go to youtube and see what you can find. :)
