Hot Rods 1926 speedster

Hello hambers.

Can any of you tell me more about this speedster, and maybe you know where to find more pictures. It woluld be very cool if you know about pictures from before it was at wreck. Im a little interested because the car is for sale here in Denmark: www.oldtimerauto.dk

It looks like it might have had quite a dramatic paint job:

Is that a top frame or a (rather anachronistic) rollbar?

Interesting car.
It was sold for $6500 US (including buyer penalty) at Bonhams.
The seller wants 14,600 eur. What is that in US $'s?

 

$11060.61 today.

 

So can he make a good business. But here in Denmark we also need to pay a lot of freight, customs duties and VAT. But not so much I actually like it, but it will be to expensive until it is finished.

 

Wrong. 14600 EUR = 19260,40 USD

 

Ouch! Unless is was previously owned by Barney Oldfield, that is a lot to spend on something that needs everything!

You're right. I had the conversion backwards.
