    Hi all,
I am new to this message board and thought I would share some info (if I missed a thread that had this info in it already I apologize for the repeat).
Anyway, I am building a 1926 coupe hot rod (chopping and channeling the body) and needed a bench seat for it. After some browsing at the local salvage yard I found the perfect bench seat! The middle seat form a Dodge Caravan is the correct size and with a few small modifications for mounting it……….it looks and works great..... and I did not have to spend $600 for a custom made seat.
    Hope this helped someone

Yeah, van seats (middle row and third row) are great candidates for narrow cars and trucks. The only gripe is that on many van seats, the seatback folding lever always winds up on the passenger side of the seat. Not a big deal, just kind of a hassle when you need to get behind the seat.

Welcome. I like T's. I'm personally not one for chopped nor channled but if you must, plan on sitting on the floor. Really. I'm 6'0 & in my "T" . . . well you know.
