My car has a 3 inch thick cushion that sits right on the floor. I'm 5'10" and look right through the middle of the windshield. From behind all that shows is my head. Dropping the floor to get the cushions down a bit more will be a good move for your extra 3". Nothing kills the look more on a T roadster than the driver sticking up a foot above the windshield. Gotta get down in there!!!

If you need any help along the way please feel free to PM me, I'd be happy to lend advice since I've been down this road. I also have hundreds of pictures of when I built my car which was from '05-'07, not '95 like I mis-typed in my first post.

I peaked at your for sale post - your T is absolutely perfect - stunning!!!. I have many questions but dont want to hijack this thread. Did you remove the seat framing to get your seat that low.

yeah the 3 inches will make a huge difference especially since im leaning my windshield back and cutting it down

The stock seat riser is removed, it was that way when I bought the body. I have the stock stamped floor panel that goes under where the riser was. The panel drops slightly so I have a thin pad to make up the difference then the seat cushion sits right on top.

If you have any other questions feel free to PM me. That way, we won't hi-jack the thread.

Just found this one and subscribed!!! LOVE what you're doing here and I see that all of the usual, "T nuts" have shown up too!!! Can't get enough of these and can't wait to see more!!!

What size tires are you running? Definitely looks like 16s, but I'm torn between 7.00-16 in the rear or 7.50-16. Also your front tires look great what size are those?

so I decided to do an update on the T
    here we go

I finally got my wheel mounted and painted
    [IMG]

I got this 40 wheel at a swap meet for free for helping a guy molest a stock column by cutting it all up with a hack saw.

    made my seat pan

and my best friends helping me on my frame one night. better known on hear as “ Lastchance” and “ Lazyv8” but I know them and Aaron and brandon
    [IMG]

    me testing out the seat

I got a T tank, split it , blasted it, and welded her back together.

You got a good look going there. What did the wheelbase end up as?

    Great progress and stance.
I like the seating arrangement with the sunken seat.
Big fan of that OD tranny too,
will be perfect for that trip to cross country.
    Cool shop too!
    3 sided rollup doors?
Bummed I had to get rid of a 27 roller earlier this year.

thanks man. I seem to forget how much I love that little truck. I always am thinking about bigger ( or smaller in this case) and greater things

That awesome moment when you find the build thread for that T on deuce rails you've been lusting over on Instagram..

Good to see you on here. :) Love this little T you've got happening here. I'm not a big fan of bobber trucks but yours isn't half-bad! I love how you worked the '37 grille to work with it, the flathead, the tall bias-plies, etc, etc..

    Consider myself subscribed.
