The smaller cap old style distributors look much better.

beautiful work, stay on the course..
    tho it
needs second leaf removed in the front and main leaf flipped over
or maybe shorter reversed eye spring.

    IMO..

Thank you. Problem is when you remove a leaf on the chrome stuff it looks terrible because they put the spring together then chrome it. So when you pull it a part that isn't chrome shows.

Didn't go to woodland today. Just worked on the car a little. Idk who made it I bought it at the swapmeet in Portland this year. It was the smallest I could find. If I keep it long enough I'm going to look into getting one chopped a few more inches.

Hey the radiator would look just right if you hadn't channeled it too much!

It's raised on 2" blocks right now. Is channeled about 3" now. It shows about 1" of frame along the body

Dustin, Take off air cleaner, take out distributor. Put a carpenter level on radiator, look at level, measure down to cowl, and report what it measures..
IMO, radiator should be about 1 inch below cowl... But you decide.. and we will critique...
    Ready, GO.......
.p.s. in the picture, it appears, at cowl, body is well below bottom of frame...

It appears lower because it has a 4" z tucked right behind the toe board. I would say it's channeled 3" on top of that.

yes I am aware you "stepped" frame..
and I like how you did it..At the "toe board" the only way IMO...

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Got my chrome steering arms on tonight and installed my baffles. Not really a fan of the flat style steering arms but I had them so I will use them!

  21. Hey Dustan, how much clearance is there between the bottom of the radiator and the crossmember? From your last pic it looks as if you could get the rad down a bit by modifying the rad mounts. I have the same problem with my T. 4" channel, 3" sweep on the chassis front. Going to fit my new custom made radiator tomorrow and have my fingers crossed everything works the way it was supposed to.

I thought the same thing but my crossmember is pretty flat so I only have about 1/8" it could move down. Hope yours works out for you!

Seats, floors, pedals, and throttle cable finally mounted. Getting pretty close to being able to fire it up. Just need to build a driveline, tunnel, get my radiator hoses and stuff done, run fuel line, and wire. After all of that I will have to do the door skin, wood kit etc image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Sure hope so,Jim is going to come and help me run some fuel lines so hopefully by the end of next week I can fire it up. Then we are going to trailer it to Jims to do the wiring. I'm getting pretty excited.
