I have a friend who is not on the computer and is piecing together a 1928-29 Model A Roadster Pickup. He has the cowl, doors, back panel and bed. He just needs the corner pieces and the subfloor. I have a subfloor for a 1928-29 Roadster that has been cutoff at the rear. We wondering if it can be cut down and used for a Roadster Pickup. If so does anyone have any measurements? I know the seat riser is different. Any info would be appreciated.
A few years ago I used the front of a roadster subframe from the B pillar forwards to patch together a Rpu. From the b pillar forward they are identical. I cant remember if the back section is different but I suspect they are very similar and could be made to work. The brace for the b pillar to subrail is different on a rpu to roadster because of how the seat riser mounts, however if your not using the factory seat riser either will work. Sorry I dont have any measurements but I could dig up a couple pictures of how everything fits together if that would help? Sent from my SM-G950W using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
not to hijack but I started a thread looking for the rear corner brackets pictures. it went into oblivion . maybe a post some up? both of us could use them im sure . thanks
