1928? Or 1931? Can anyone help

    Does anyone know what year and what make this is?? I was told it was a 1928 Ford truck cab but I just wanna make sure

  3. If that's the factory all steel top, it's a '31.

    The easy way to tell is 28-29s had a step in front if the door and 30-31s are smooth like the one your showing.

    actually, the easy way to tell is the 28/29 cabs had a square flat back and top, not rounded like this one

  7. 31 also got an indent in the firewall on the right side, but this one's cut out.

    '28-'29 fuel tanks have a front ledge that bolts to a separate lower firewall, '30-'31's have a full firewall that the tank slips in behind. I agree with everyone, you have a '30 or '31 cab there.

    28-29 had Model T doors, Vertical back, clear to the top.

    Yep, '31 steel top Budd cab. The rear window on '28-'29's are tiny with squared edges,rear cab back has sharp defined edges, cowl is stepped at the A-pillar, visor is larger in size with more squared off edges, they use Model T doors, B-pillar has a rounded square sheetmetal raised imprint on the skin..
