1928 Model A Ford Roadster Pickup V8 60 HP Reduced price: $ 15,000.00 Engine: 1938 "cast iron side" V8 60 HP. Complete rebuild with NOS pistons, rings, con rods, main & rod bearings, valve springs, keepers, camshaft gear, oil pump gears. Used camshaft, repro cam bearings, oil pickup tube and screen. Repro fuel pump, rebuilt starter and generator. Rebuilt "48" Stromberg. Crankshaft ground to .020/.020 Trany: Resufaced cup style flywheel. NOS Pressure plate, starter ring, clutch plate, throw out bearing and collar. Used small 60 HP trany case, shift tower and forks. The internals are NOS, gears, shafts, bearings and u-joint. Rear axle: Axle came out of a running and driving car, 4.11 ratio. Torque tube, radius rods and driveshaft shortened to fit the "A" frame. Rebuilt "A" shocks front & rear. New rear spring, 5 leafs. Rides nice. Brakes: Drums front & rear reground within limits. New shoe arced to drums, repro wheel cyls. New 16 Firestone tires, new tubes. Body: No seat springs just foam, body is channeled 3". Repro windshield frame and new safety plate glass. Steering: Dropped Ford axle. Rebuilt "A steering gear, with new worm, sector and bushings. New front spring. Misc: 6 volt positive ground, horn and lights work. Master switch. I finished the pickup in 2008 and it has less than 2000 miles on it.
