For Sale 1929 Model A Ardun powered roadster Genuine Henry Ford steel body mated to a 1932 Ford chassis. This Roadster was built over an 8 year period in the 50’s and 60’s by the owner, Art Piel in his garage in Detroit. It was featured in Hot Rod Magazine in 1962. It has spent it’s entire life in the Motor City, and has had just three owners since it was built. The car retains the original interior, chrome plating of chassis and driveline components, and the paint that Art applied some seventy years ago. While the roadster was under Detroit’s “Hot Rod” Harry McAuliffe’s care it was treated to a Ardun overhead valve equipped flathead, which was prepped by a local flathead expert. It’s not often that you find a survivor Hot Rod built in the 50s, let alone having the opportunity to become it’s caretaker. I’ll let the photos tell the story. If you have questions feel free to contact me. International buyers are always welcome and we will assist in transportation. Transportation included in the purchase price to the lower 48 states via Reliable Carriers. The car is available for inspection by appointment. I am located 10 minutes from Detroit Metro airport. $100K Steve 734-740-84sixtwo
