I might have the option to purchase a '29 Chasis with a ford 9" rear and Chevy 350sb. I have not seen it but hear it is pretty decent. I am waiting to see pictures. What would something like this be worth?

Well, you're pretty vague about the condition of the chassis and the motor. A new Stage 2 TCI Model A chassis runs a bit over $7K if you're not too fancy and a crate motor 350 is probably in the $2500 range so figure $10K if you're buying it new. Your's would be somewhere south of that. Boxed frame, brakelines run, type of brakes, condition of motor, speed parts, all would figure in. Do you have any more info?
