The back half in the picture and the one door shell. It is a cool looking shell and I think it's not a model t but not for sure

What are the chances you will ever find the missing door, not to mention the hood, grill, fenders, windshield frame, inside window frames. You get the picture. Find another more complete car to start with. You would probably never be able to finish that one even if they gave it to you. It's not a Ford, there are not lots of parts laying around for it.

I'm not sure exactly what it is but I doubt it's a '29 Pontiac. I have a '30 Pontiac and these things have a lot of wood in them and the roof is a separate piece from the quarter panels. It could be a '32 Pontiac, maybe? The more I look at it the more I think it is a '32 Pontiac.

I'd probably give 500 for it. It doesnt look too bad. If you're building a hot rod who says the cowl has to be from the same car. Look at how some of the bodies on here have started out and I think cowls are easier to find than good quarters or a roof.

It's very solid as far as the quarters deck lid goes.

I dont know about a straight interchange but I'm sure something can be made to fit with some metal work. I would get it then start measuring.

Most things can be fixed if you have time, money and ability.
If you think you can satisfy that criteria and do the job, then it is probably worth the $500.
If not then possibly take some of the earlier advice.

The door in the photo doesn't have the same character lines around the window as the quarter windows have. That door isn't for the body in the photo.

I've been looking at different deck lids to find ones that the hinges stick up like the ones in my pics

The body lines around the quarter & rear windows, as well as the beltline, look a lot like '32 Pontiac. Those trunk hinges (if original), make me think otherwise. What does a '32 Oakland coupe look like?

I have looked at many trunk hinges and have found none like the one on mine.

That's an odd brand for sure!! But definitely worth the $500! (Wouldn't pay more than that) but grab it and if you don't find good front mate you could always flip it! Looks like a good start to me!

Not 100% sure , can't find picture to verify, but I believe that is a 1930 Oakland coupe. pretty much the same body lines as our 1931 Pontiac, but ours is a rumbleseat, not a trunk. Also Oaklands were a little longer from the roof to the rear of the car than the Pontiacs. I think the trunk hinges changed from 1930 to 1931 for Oakland. 1930 Oaklands were a lot like 1931 Pontiacs and 1931 Oaklands, but not exactly.

$500 doesn't buy much in that shape, whatever it is..
If you don't need it for an immediate project I would definitely buy it...
Depending on what that door is, that could possibly pay for a good part of it alone...
Nice find....and let us know what you do..
