$.10/lb maybe a bit more if somebody needs another project. Seems like everyone here has their fair share of projects going already.
A year ago I bought a very similar one in somewhat worse condition for $2700. Geography plays a huge factor. In my area yours would go for $3500 - $4500. If you hold out for the right buyer, $5000. Are you selling? Where are you located?
Take it to a no reserve auction, you'll find out exactly what it's worth. Just make sure if you don't like the numbers that you're the last bidder. It'll cost you the auction fee but the good thing about auctions is that it's real money, no BS from looky loos. In other words, what HRP said.
personally the chop and channel makes it unrealistic for the m***es to want the suicide front end kills it for more people the market is kind of small for that car the way it is does it have a ***le?....because that would kill it for some states even might be better off parting it out but what do i know tk
$4,500 and the chop and channel is a plus around here to most. if the wheels come with it and are usable 5 g's

I agree. There is probably a limited market on a project like that. I wouldn't think the figures posted would be realistic in most areas.
Break even is a thing of the past, I was happy to get half or what I was into on some parts. Half a loaf isn't a bad thing if you have something better to put the funds into. Bob
The 8" channel can be undone a bit easier as you haven't installed a floor yet. I'd be more concerned with the stretched frame/suicide front end as well as the roof insert. I realize it isn't finish welded, but the ribbed insert looks too bowed at the front and has the ribs running wild all the way forward to where the donor skin was cut. Typically ribbed roof inserts are fit so the insert/donor is smooth, then transitions to the ribbed portion a foot or so beyond the header.
I agree with the previous post about style appealing to the younger crowd. Why is it that some folks think every car or truck from the 50's down needs to be an inch from the ground? And early stuff needs to have axle pushed 2 to 3 feet forward? Also as mentioned, the floor could be put back, the chop and repair looks to be decent from the pics shown. I think the body alone would go for $2.000 to 2.500. The ch***is?
