    Thanks!
Loaded the car up on the trailer to take it to the metal shop. You can see the other doors with the tops that I plan to get welded on.

A slight hang up with the doors. The tops of mine are rusted beyond repair. They were not worth welding back on. So I found a pair of doors off a sport coupe and will be receiving them next week. In the mean time im dis***embling the fenders and running boards.

69f100 you pretty much hit it on the head! I always wanted a vintage hotrod, I had to start somewhere and its been a blast. Believe it or not I was digging fence post holes in my yard and dug into a bunch of vintage car parts mostly Model A stuff (Model A keys still on a ring with a bunch of skeleton keys, door handles, winged radiator cap, tag topper,etc...). I always liked the "A" and some of those parts I found buried in the yard are going back on this car. I always wonder if there is more stuff buried since there is the remains of a 1920's garage next to my property!

Holy cow - GREAT story! Talk about getting inspiration from unlikely sources. Do you have any pictures of you unearthing that stuff? Would love to see what you dug up. Did you search for more, or just get what was close by?

Enjoying your build - great attention to detail. The paint scheme is poppin' (as the kids say)!

    Hey Everyone,
Its been a while since I posted anything on the MODEL A. There has been quite a few changes in the project. It was put on hold for a while because of a divorce. The wife is gone but the Model A is still here! A friend of mine wanted the Sport Coupe body so I sold it to him. In its place is a 1929 Roadster body with 1928 doors. I kept the original gas tank from the sport coupe for the roadster. It will still have a rumble seat and the windshield has a 2 inch chop. I removed the fender brackets to run fenderless. Also just picked up a pair of Guide 682C headlights for her. Cant wait to get started on her again. Ill post picts soon. By the way anyone know how many ladies can fit in a roadster? lol

Good to see you back at it. Congrats on the divorce, best $200,000 I ever spent!

Don't know how many ladies you can fit in there, but just keep piling them in until one complains... then toss her out!

    More updates:
The body and headlight buckets were dropped off at the paint shop and is getting painted gloss black with a white fire wall. They are going to replicate a early lacquer finish but use modern paints. She should be done this weekend. All the body blocks have been painted and the frame welting has been laid down on the frame. My girlfriends uncle (another Model A collector) had a salvaged steering column and box from a 29 that he didn't have a purpose for. So after a little cleaning it is now in my car to replace the old worn out steering box that was giving me a hard time. All the carbs have been plumbed using vintage NOS finger clamps and br*** fittings from SoCal speed shop. All the body wood and floorboards have been stained.
