    Cool litle cars! And WHO woulda thought -- Bantam keeps going through the Depression and winds up designing & co-founding (with Willys & Ford) the JEEP that we still see today!

    OK You can't have an American Austin thread without me putting in pictures of my first race car. This is it's third and last incarnation unless I find it still around some day. Sold it in '65 when I got my '32 Ford coup. It's a pickup cab with a trunk from some other car brazzed on. Sort of like the one being built here on another thread by some guy with way more talant. Finders fee and to much money will be paid to get this thing back.
