New to the forum and hot rodding in general. I recently bought a 1930 Dodge DD6 sedan that my great grandfather originally purchased new in 1930. I plan to keep the body original (new paint and chrome) but install a more modern drivetrain, IFS, and a 4-link. Right now I also have a '86 Olds Cutlass that I built as a street/strip car and a '76 Mini that my wife and I finished restoring and have taken best in class at our first big show. We've decided to sell those to free up funds for the dodge though. The dodge is really in excellent shape, totally original and complete. It runs too. Although some people on other boards have literally threatened to kill me for rodding it, I always wanted to build a street rod. I'm just hoping I haven't bitten off more than I can chew.
