Beautiful car. Question about the seats. I'm looking at Model A's now and I've only sat in one Tudor sedan with those seats. They felt like overstuffed lounge chairs - too high in the middle and nothing really supporting the sides. I was told that that was typical...is it?
This one had the seats redone. It didnt seem to sag on the sides. I have seen a few that did have that problem though. Since I have seen a few I would say that it is typical.
Very few "bucket"-seats in early cars, Ford, GM, Mopar, or others seem to be very supportive but you must remember a seat with original springs is just as worn out as a suspension spring under the frame especially if the owner/driver was a big man or a big woman either. The spring ***emblies can be duplicated with new springs and ties by Snyder's Antique Parts in New Springfield OH or Car-line Antique Parts in Beaumont TX. New seat springs are not terribly expensive and make a geart difference in p***enger comfort.
I've got almost a thousand miles in the driver's seat of a 32 tudor with stock front seats. Almost exactly like that A. They don't LOOK like they'd be comfortable, but they are. Haven't slid out yet.
