Is $1000 for this a good deal? It has both doors, window moldings, but not much else - no radiator/grill shell. What's the going rate these days? No ***le either.......

Yup...it's a good deal IMHO. Looks solid and comes with the frame too, right? Buy it if you're looking for a sedan.
I sold my 28 sedan bare body with doors for $750 about 10 years ago and sold it too damn cheap but sedans just don't do it for me.

Yes! $1000 doesnt buy you much in the way of a Model "A" anymore.

  4. I'm sure some people will come along who'll say they'd only pay $300 for it, but when's the last time anyone like that actually bought one for that money?

it's worth $1000 all day. Cleaned up some and made to roll, probably more. We sold one that wasn't much better for $2500 a couple years ago.

the going price is almost laughable when you look at you will spend on the project ... a decent front end will cost you that much ...

If it's as solid as it looks, it's a good deal. My uncle paid $2k for a similar one, though virtually rust free and with a ***le, about 6-7 years ago. Don't know what getting a ***le is like in Minnesota, but the MSRA have a real strong following up there so they can probably point you in the right direction
