1930 windshield posts

Have any of you cheapskates ever modified a set of 29 windshield posts to work on a 30 roadster. A set of the 30 posts costs over 500.00. I would like to lean them back a small amount. I've been all over the search forum.

Speedway has a set of aluminum 2" chop 29 posts for 89.00. I just can't see how to mount them.

 

Good question. I also have a 30 roadster... and no windshield yet.

 

I needed some for my 36 but couldn't swallow the 800 price tag. So I went to the metal yard and got some 1x3 aluminum and milled them out. I'm real happy with them. Cost me 22 bucks.
