Not sure but it may be a 32 Chrysler. Should have dual cowl vents too. Not sure if it would be an Imperial or just plain Chrysler.

If it is a 32 Chrysler they had cool gauges, grill and numerous other parts.

  5. If the ID tag is still on the right front door hinge post, it will contain the information to answer your questions. However 1931 through 1933 Chryslers do have a split windshield.

It doesn't appear to be a limo, just a 4 door...it looks nearly identical to my '31 Plymouth, except for the windshield area...

i looked on the fire wall and didnt see any numbers or anything.

they have them in the jambs??? the doors are screwd together right now just to hold everything in place but if this is true could someone tell me what door it would be on and where to look.

P*** FRONT, not on the door, it is on the front door hinge post about 1/3 the way up from the sill. If it's there, you can't miss it, it should be maybe 4" tall by 1.5" wide shiny aluminum.

Yes it is the real VIN. It will say in big letters : SERIAL NUMBER

The missing one that should be on the firewall is only the body sequence number, not the actual VIN.

As far as I know, all mopars of those years had quarter windows that roll down.

I know an internet guy who is up on some mopars of that age. He has 31 dodges and knows lots about chryslers also. It may take a while for me to get an answer.

Some early mopars can be deciphered by just the serial number by some other people he knows, but some models can't. The ones that can be traced, they can tell where it was sold new. Don't get excited, because the records for some body styles have been lost.

According to these "FEDCO NUMBERING SYSTEM" records:

    1924-1937 Chrysler - Imperial Serial Numbers.jpg
    click 3 times to enlarge

... it's a 1932 Chrysler Model CI 6 (cylinder) sedan ... just like this one:

  27. My book also says 1932 Chrysler CI series, Six, 13,772 4-door sedans produced. Wheelbase 116 inches. Should have oval-shaped instrument board (or hole for it), and dual cowl vents.
