A member of our Austin crew is fighting a medical battle at the moment and as a result, needs to liquidate a few cars to lighten the load. I'm listing the cars myself and will answer any preliminary questions you might have simply because the owner is busy with more important things. Once someone has shown serious interest, I will gladly put them in touch with the owner. Anyway, one of the cars in the collection is this 1931 Ford Coupe. It's sitting on a '32 chassis prepared by Circle City Hot Rods (still needs some finish welding) with all the goodies and is powered by a rebuilt 350 Chevy that is backed by a t5 tranny and a new Currie 9" rear. Mechanically, this thing is basically brand spanking new (ASC rails, new pedal assembly, column, split bones, dropped '32 heavy axle, etc...) and put together by one of the best... All that's really missing is the brakes. The body is damn near pristine. Any past rust has been repaired and it is now as solid as can be... The header panels on both sides need a little work (as pictured), but otherwise it is ready for final body work and paint. It is a really, really nice body with new floors (needs trunk floor) and great alignment everywhere you look. This one is close to being completely mocked up and the new owner has the potential to finish it in his/her own style. Pretty neat opportunity to own an affordable hot rod that is done right thus far... The owner is asking $16k or best offer. To me, that's pretty damned good money on a car with such a pedigree.
