    City: Harbor Beach

    State: Michigan
    Price: $13,000
I have owned the 31 for 7 months or so, and 600 - 700 miles of driving. I purchased the car back in February ( trailered home ) from the Macon Georgia area.

The car was built over a 2 year period by a guy (Gene) who`s 80 +/-years young, and continuing to add to those 60 plus years of building.
This one believed to have been built in the late 50's - early 60's.
When the car was purchased, it already had the Y block engine, which was set back 8 inches. Front seats are also set back. The frame appears to be original 1931. The Y Block is a 292, which has been totally rebuilt, added are the special heads ( 57 G). These are fresh, featuring a 3 angle valve grind. An Isky cam (E4) was installed, along with electronic ignition. Cooling is handled by a brand new aluminum radiator.
The exhaust consist of a set of vintage homemade headers with dual exhaust, flowing thru a pair of Raptor mufflers dumping out before the rear end. This set-up sounds great.
Power goes to a 1950 Ford F1 3 speed (floor shift), thru an open drive line to a Modern Ford 9" rear end. The rear is a 3.70 gear and has been fully restored. Rear has newer chrome coil overs.
The front end has a new Super Bell with a 4" drop. Split wishbone . New tube shocks were added in front along with new brakes from a 1940 Ford.
All gl***, gaskets, fuzzy`s along with window tracks are new. Windshield opens / closes properly. The top is new.
Tires are new, fronts 6.70 x 15, rears 8.20 x 15 all mounted on early Ford 5 X 5 1/2 bolt pattern. I recently found out the RR rim has a bit of a wobble, have straightened or replacement recommended. Ford half caps .
Headlights (32 Ford), taillights, brake lights, dash lights work like they should. New 32 style gas tank. No high beams, no horn, no heat, no emergency brake, no spare rim/tire. Turn signals handled by left arm.
The body is all Ford and is an honest car. Filler in the body is minimal based on magnet check. Front fenders have had metal repair from inside, where splits are typical.
The paint is a few years old, and very nice for a driver. Hood side panels are painted to match and come with the car. However, due to the headers they don't fit correctly.
Interior is sp****. Dash is a 1932 Ford instrument panel with gas, oil, temp, amp gauges are SW. These along with Speedo ( 46 -47 Ford ? ) function properly.
New wiper motor and arm (single) are mounted, but not yet wired in. Rearview mirror only.
The 2 bucket seats have been recovered and look good, however they sit high and won`t work for a taller person ( I`m 5'8" ) without some fab work to the lower seat structure. Plenty of leg room. No back seat.
No headliner, door and rear panels, kick panels, floor is plywood .
Reason for selling ( previous owner ), after 2-3 years of work on the A, my son and grandson surprised me with an original 39 sedan( my dream car) and this is now my only interest.

My asking price is now $13k. If I am unable to find a buyer, then I may consider a late 40s - mid 50s trade.

Hey guys, finally figured out how to post pictures with ad. Getting smarter everyday apparently. Moms Misc photos 4-22-2015 006.JPG 1931 FORD 2 DR SEDAN 4182015 005.JPG 1931 FORD 2 DR SEDAN 4182015 006.JPG 1931 FORD 2 DR SEDAN 4182015 003.JPG 1931 FORD 2 DR SEDAN 4182015 009.JPG my 1931 Ford 2 door Sedan 006.JPG

I have put 600 - 700 miles on the 31 since May of this year, all local stuff at 25 - 50 mph. The car runs great, shifts fine, brakes do there job well. Certainly no show car, but an honest car. Glad to answer any questions to the best of my ability.
