    I'm building a 31 Ford truck and have a question on the original ch***is If I box the ch***is and install a V8 in it would the ch***is Tweek?? Cause I keep hearing that the V8 would be too much power for that original frame

    The last 30 Model A truck I built I boxed it.

    The original frames were designed to flex and that's exactly what they do,,at the time Henry built these cars roads were nothing more than trails.

    Personally I think it's more than wise to box a frame. HRP
     
  3. 001440.jpg 001500.jpg Box it and build some nice strong cross members. You'll be glad you did. I did mine and after 4 years of driving on country roads I have no body cracks and no creaks or rattles when driving, very tight.
