well, ive now got most of the body for my 31 Model A closed cab. what im missing is the visor, roof panels, and the entire drivers side cab corner. roof to floor. this thing is really, really rusty. im almost wondering of its worth it to fix it. my question is, does anyone make fiberglass or cheap repop steel parts for this truck? namely the roof and back section of the cab. ive found some parts at mikes model a, but they seem a bit high. please, see if you can help me, or maybe give me suggetions to make my own parts. im a little strapped on fundage because im getting married in the next year, so like i said, ths has gotta be done on the cheap. ill be posting later on about frames and such. this is my first fabricate from scratch car, so ill have a lot of stupid questions. the only reason i even considered fiberglass is for a better power to weight ratio. like 400 horse and less than 2500 LBS isnt good enough... anyway, i really dont think the back section of the cab is good enough to run as it is. there isnt even a section of the doorjamb left. now, i cold bungee the door shut... anyway, i dont like fiberglass. its for boats. but im exploring any and all options.
