1949 Cadillac 331 Powered Model A Pickup This custom Model A Pickup is a true hot rod, featuring a chopped and channeled body sitting atop a modified Z'd original Model A truck frame. The front of the frame is supported by front wheels mounted to a 4-inch drop axle, delivering that perfect stance. Under the hood, the Dual Quad Cadillac 331 engine with Magneto Ignition provides a powerful yet smooth ride, backed by a 3-speed Hydramatic Transmission that shifts flawlessly. The power is transferred to the rear wheels through a 1948 Ford Banjo rear-end, offering both strength and reliability. For stopping power, the truck is equipped with front finned Buick aluminum drums and rear 48 juice drum brakes, ensuring it stops on a dime. This hot rod is well-sorted, offering both performance and reliability, and has been thoroughly enjoyed on the road. While I had plans to take it apart and repaint it, I fell in love with its current look and decided to leave it as-is its rugged charm is something I truly admire. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or for more information. This is a one-of-a-kind ride that's ready to be enjoyed for years to come.
