**Update. Pulling the add. Found a mechanic to replace the clutch. **

First off, the car needs a clutch or release bearing. Runs but doesn't drive.

1931 all steel Ford 5 window coupe. Roadster Shop frame, spec ordered '32 boxed frame. 5 1/2" Z frame front, 10" Z frame rear. 5 1/2" Chop. 4" Channel. Front axle-Super Bell- 4" drop. 1951 Flathead 8BA, 3.9L 239 ci. Hasting rings, Edge pistons, Schneider cam, Johnson light weight lifters. S-10 5-speed rear end. Aluminum radiator. Flaming river Vega steering bot. Front disc brakes. Superbell front axle with 4" drop.

The car has won two Good Guys awards, for Chopped and Dropped and Period Correct. The checkerboard paint was all hand done. A '59 Mercedes fin tails have been welded in front of the rear wheel wells. The roof has been filled also from a the roof of a '59 Mercedes.

Home built by Steve Dively out of Altoona PA. I purchased the car from Steve in 2014. I've had drop link rear suspension added as well as the 5-speed rebuilt 5 years ago. Car has a cage. Windshield is gl***. All the rest of the windows are plexigl***.

Issues: 1. The car needs a clutch or release bearing. It runs great, but it will not go into gear. I've tried for months for a fix but my transmission shop was bought out, turned into a shopping mall. Mechanics I know aren't interested in a clutch job. The remaining hot rod shop will only swap in an all new transmission. 2. Battery cut off required after use. Likely the old horn is drawing voltage. Not an issue for me, I use the battery kill whenever parked. 3. Dash gas float gauge inop. Worked 2 years ago, but not currently. 4. Tachometer runs on roof mounted gauge, not from the dash cluster.

The car a blast to drive and is shocking how well it handles. I owned a '30 shop built highboy and never wanted to drive it, as the '31 was more fun. It has a full exhaust with mufflers but I always run it with the cut outs open. I have two grille shells. The smaller I believe is an original cut down '32 shell. The black one I'm running now is a full size steel.
