Hot Rods 1932 5 Window Interior Idea

I am having the interior done in a weathered black(much like the weathered brown). I was thinking about having my dash and garnish moldings Hydro Dipped in a Black Burl Wood. Would this look OK or should I just paint them Semigloss Black?

What did you paint the car? Looks to me to be a gloss dark blue-hard to tell in the pic? Washington blue? If you are going with a black interior I would paint the dash gloss black or even body color. You're not doing a restoration so forget the wood finish. It's hot rod!
