Hello, I have a 1932 Chevy 2 door sedan I built 20 years ago and it's been in primer since the build. Finally getting it ready to paint it with Kirker Hotrod Black and wondering if I should blow the car apart and paint and re***emble or paint it all together. Anybody painted a sedan all together before? FB_IMG_1497556897011.jpg

I think it would look sharp with a nice Ermine white paint job with some pagan gold fogging and pin stripes on it. But it’s not my car. :(

My friend is working on a 1946 Ford coup, been in primer for a long time (possibly 25years) he has taken it back to metal recently, and under the primer/filler were traces of rust starting to form.
If it was my car, I would maybe take a couple of panels down to metal, just to make sure all is well..
