Why is a 34 Ford pickup off topic, you may ask, well, it's sitting on a 1980 Toyota truck chassis, 22r engine, 4 spd tranny, steering column, wiring and all. It's actually pretty peppy.
I had posted Toyroda on HAMB last year and was deleted since it wasn't traditional. I saw a pic of it and thought it was a 32, they guy selling it for the owner had no clue, a Facebook group said it has a 34 cab, and a Model A bed. I like all kinds of cars, not knowledgeable on early stuff.
I swapped out the Toyota steering wheel, had a Ford one hanging in garage I bought a couple years ago because you never know when you might need one. I also changed wheels twice, put some Mopar rallys on, then later got a set of steelies with whitewalls. Still looking for a set of center caps to fit the wheels.
When I first tried starting it the engine would die when I let up on the key. I finally figured out it had a kill switch on it. I also changed the front bumper and changed out the big front turn signals.

Nice job. It looks really good with the red wheels on it in your Facebook link.

  3. That in my opinion is the perfect daily driver. Toyota reliability and fuel mileage but with great early ford looks. The best part is mechanical parts are available at an average parts store and if you need body or interior parts it's all available too and it's all fairly cheap relatively speaking.
