Here's an update... I took these yesterday to send to a friend overseas, thought you guys might enjoy them too.

Is it finished? No, but I'm happy with it for now. :D

I am looking for an original dome light if anybody's got one.

Damn Brian, I went from wanting to build my 5w as a car similar to your own but with some '35 spokes etc to a Early 50's Hemi powered coupe with baby blue paint, Moon Caps and shit. Now I just don't know which side is up.

    That thing is perfect.

Thanks for the kind words guys, it means a lot. You look at your own car so long you don't know if you even like it anymore.

Dirty, there's an engine under the hood, a plate on the back, and a current registration sticker on the windshield... it's running and legal!

I bet that thing would be jaw dropping to see in the middle of Manhattan. The sounds bouncing off all the concrete and reverberating through your soul haha!!!

I once was visiting my friend Veda and she lived like pretty close to the Balarney Stone on 34th street. We were walking home one day and this black 5w coupe pulled up to the red light and I was floored. Probably one of the coolest thing I have ever seen. Hot Rods Juxtaposed into major urban areas is pretty fucking cool.

Oddly enough Brian, I had that exact same shift knob up until a month ago when I traded it for 3 94's. It's definitely a cool knob but a little to hot during the summer months to be fucking around with. I can see those words being seared into your hand forever!!!! Hahaha!!!!

Excellent example of a well done hot rod. gives me some much needed inspiration to get off my ass and get going on mine.
