Glad to see this thread still alive! Keep it going, guys. This looks like a car featured on an episode of "My Classic Car" - at the show he had the Merc hubcaps on the passenger side, but chrome steelies on blackwalls on the driver's! Like two different eras in one car.
now where is the fun in that....... You do realise that a substantial number of threads on here are just the same, picture threads with pictures taken off the big wide web, any way, google shows mainly street rods and other billet stuff..........

Here’s mine. I’d love to find out the history of it. From what I do know it was imported into Melbourne Australia by a guy named Brett De la Mare in 89. Apparently it has 60s drag racing history from maybe the Texas or Kansas area.
