Here are some of my '32 3W coupe. It was built in '50s and I would love to know the history, but all I got was the body and original chassis that was hit so hard in the left front it could not be used. Anybody seen this car before? It was in Seattle/Tacoma area in '82 and then to Buck's place in Ramona, CA.
I normally side with actual lakes or drag coupes over show boats but the Lloyd Baken coupe has got to be one of the best!!!
Thanks ts!! I don't want to sidetrack things but I have a couple more pics in my album if you're curious. My first rod magazine was the Hot Rod issue with Lloyd Bakan's coupe on the cover - I was seven years old. I promised myself I would have a hot rod like that someday. Only took 50 years! The interior was heavily influenced by the "Big Deuce" model kit I built when I was about twelve, and the paint was influenced in part by Kookie's car on 77 Sunset Strip (boy am I old!). I'm havin' a ball now, so I guess it pays to be patient! Awesome collection of images you've got there by the way!!
It happend at my Bar-B-Q before the 2005 Round Up. A kid backed into it with a Dodge Ram Charger in the driveway of my shop. It took a year to get settled with the insurance company......and by that time I had moved on to other projects. Time to circle back.
