Technical 1932 ford 5 window

    With original Ford components, how is the top of the door garnish molding secured? There are 4 holes in the molding along with 4 holes going through the top of the door, so must need some form of threaded hardware to receive the screw. Just trying to keep authentic, thanks for any help given, Mike

    Your correct the screws are held in with a threaded and shouldered sleeve they have a screw driver slot on the end. The correct sleeves and screws are being reproduced so any one selling parts for a Deuce should have them in stock.

    Yep, not a hardware store part. Specific for your '32, available from a resto supply house.
