Hot Rods 1932 Ford 5window coupe...am I missing something for my trunk?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 56don, Oct 27, 2012.

  1. I am putting the trunk back into use from when a previous owner converted it to a rumble seat. I think something is missing. It doesn't look like I have all the pieces to the trunk inside where the latch locks. Am I missing something?

  3. It looks more like a trough than a panel..I got my last one from Howells..
It is necessary as its formed to take the trunk latch plate..to hold deck lid shut

  4. I thought as much. Crap, more stuff to buy. Do the repros actually fit well?

  5. Don,,Bill Rhoads bought the panel from Howells and it looks correct to me. HRP

  6. Thanks, Danny. I think I will probably use them, I have had pretty good luck with their patch panels on my pickup truck.
As you can see, I have already started doing some repairs on it.

I have a repop piece that my Dad got years ago . I had it bolted in my Roadster and it fit well considering it is a repop.I found the original so I put it back in. I will make a deal on it for a fellow 32 Owner if it helps . It's not doing me any good :)
