I was curious if I could get any detailed pic of the windshield and how it mounts ect...

I have never inspected a cabriolet before ... I've got a really rough body with nothing else . I would like to make something as origional looking as possible ~thanks

I believe they had a piano type hinge like the B400. Check on the ford barn.

image.jpg I can send you whatever you'd like. The windshield is fixed, as you know. Not sure what you mean, "how it mounts".

Honestly I was unsure if it swung out like a model A or it was fixed .... So it's a frame that's fixed ... How does it seal and how is frame held into the body?... Thanks again

It is fixed. Screws in from the back side. Nuts are made into the windshield frame.

The frame is part of the body. The gl*** ***embly is rubber mounted in the framework. If anyone knows where to get that rubber, let me know. The rubber on mine is hard as a rock!

You mean it has rubber in the side like a roadster windshield , instead of a gasket between the a pillar and the frame?

Thirtytwo: I believe this is the cabrio that belongs to cabriolethiboy. See if he has pics of the windshield frame installed, inside and out. tim 004.JPG

Thanks, kinda still can't tell if the gasket is sandwiched between the frame and body or it hooks to the windshield somehow , I guess drake does make a gasket for it according to the catalog image.jpg

Could I get you to snap pics of what the back of the a pillar looks like and the door tops? What is on there for molding/ garnish?~ thank you

from that picture it looks like how a pick up windshield is held in. they pivot with a piano hinge at the top.

Seems legit ... Traditional bailing wire

The guy at the swap meet told me it would fit
