I have a 32 coupe that was made into a roadster. Looking to understand what a good asking price is for a variety of items. I am building a traditional car and going back to a flathead. So these are for sale. 1. Convertible top. It is vinyl top and in average condition. It shows some signs of wear. It has one tiny hole the size of #2 pencil lead. 2. Fiberglass fenders metal running boards, brackets 3. Front and rear bumpers, brackets 4. One Headlight bar, aftermarket 5. One Headlight bar HF original 6. Windshield 7. Independent Front Suspension (IFS) Located in Metro Detroit I have more pictures available
Sorry I can't give you an amount or a value. But what I am really interested is: how can you tell if an advertised "Roadster" is a "Coupester"? thanks!
Yeah it's a coupester but one of the nicest ones I've seen built. Obviously the body does deserve to be put in original form. United Pacific offers tops and doors so that shouldn't be too tough. 1. Convertible top. It is vinyl top and in average condition. It shows some signs of wear. It has one tiny hole the size of #2 pencil lead. $600 to $800 would be my guess. It's apparently a custom top and not made to fit a roadster so anyone who buy's it will have to "make it work" on their application 2. Fiberglass fenders metal running boards, brackets I've had fiberglass 32 fenders laying around for years because everyone wants steel so glass fenders and aftermarket steel boards might bring $500 3. Front and rear bumpers, brackets reproduction bumpers in pretty nice shape $200 each. 4. One Headlight bar, aftermarket $100 maybe 5. One Headlight bar HF original a nice 4 cylinder or V8 bar with the stainless in good shape and it's not bent will bring between $150 and $200. 6. Windshield It appears to be a 32 ford roadster windshield frame. The buyer should do a lot of measuring to verify exactly what it is. Probably worth $300 7. Independent Front Suspension (IFS) Brand and quality will determine this one. My guess is $600 to $800
