The price has jumped up there pretty fast, but from the looks of the car still a pretty good deal....If this car can be bought around $40K it is a smart investment.....As far as being over most peoples heads, It is all in how you look at it, I see guys signing 7 year $40-$50K bank loans for a new truck all the time.....And at the end of the 7 years what have they got?...A wore out truck that is not worth anything.....I would rather buy the 32 and drive a beater pickup....As in 7 years the 32 will be worth more.....just my 2 cents

  3. as much hype has been made here over this vehicle $40k would be fair investment price from the pictures but the sales description sure is weak and hard to back up. looks like a 80's resto job to me.

nice car, is it better to keep a car like this for awhile and show it off and create some media on it before you dump it on ebay or just do a quick turn around, what would bring the most money? also what did you use on the outside to make it look so nice?

Nothing like some free HAMB advertizing to set your ebay ad in motion.

I doubt you could cut it up anyhow, you probably don't know how to do anything but sell stuff. Every post you have made here has been about selling shit, I dunno why you even spoke like you would keep it.

Just like one of your posts in the classifieds someone asked if that was the body off Craigslist....what did you go snag it for cheap, and then list it here to get more?

    What a cocksucker move.

Leave it stock and start earning money with it in movies. Stock cars in that condition are sought after in the movie business. they pay well, and you can stay with the car if you're concerned about it getting damaged.

Congratulations on the unreal find. Sounds like it's in good hands. Do you own Mitch's? That's the shop I bought my KG from!

Shut down this thread. Only reason it exists is to sell his item on epay.

Everybody else can say whatever they want about me selling my car but don't start being a keyboard tough guy. I said I want to leave it like it is which is one of the reasons I am selling it. I sold that body at least a couple of years ago. And I listed in the classifieds of all places??? Somebody should definitely report me. At the end of the day, you start paying my bills then you can tell me what to do with my car. Otherwise, get a life.

I spammed you? I thought everybody might enjoy seeing the car. I think the car would do enough traffic on Ebay on it's own merit. I don't understand why everybody is so up in arms about me putting my car up for sale. I didn't know you had to sign a lifelong ownership agreement to post pictures of your car on here. Everybody needs to relax.

Not being a tough guy...was just telling it like it is.

I don't think you should be reported, I think you should be banned. You have just used this place as your classifieds. I guess you figured this wouldn't bring enough here, so you listed it on Ebay.

Just click on his name, and look at his previous posts. 21 out of his 25 total posts come up, EVERY LAST ONE relates to selling a car. Pretty clear why he is here...

I have used the classifieds a few times for my classifieds. The problem with that is? Why you care so much about the sale is strange. If you don't like it, don't post. If you don't want it, don't buy it. It's relatively simple.

I am not a person who would ever tell someone else what they should or shouldn't do with or to their car. If they want to sell it, then sell it. But this 32 ford really is a find of a lifetime(as you state) if it's a true find and not just a 70's restorations. For arguements sake, we'll assume its a true survivor. Unfortunately, this car was not sold by the orginal family to a true Deuce lover, or even a car enthusiast who would appreciate it and love it as it should be for a price that's reasonable, as I'm sure you got it for. Now, it'll be sold to someone, hopefully, who will care for it properly, unfortunately, they will have to pay a premium(your profit) that they shouldn't have to pay. I really don't have a problem with people selling their cars, however when people are in the hobby just to make a profit off it, that kinda bugs me. And it's sellers like yourself, that are just driving up the cost of Deuces and other sought after cars for really no reason at all.....just my 2 cents.

Fair enough. You show me anywhere in any of my posts that I mentioned anything about it being for sale or being on Ebay. Do you honestly believe I needed to post it here to "stir up interest"? I simply posted it because I though you would enjoy seeing it. If it causes you that much stress there are plenty of other posts to read.

So I am single handedly driving up prices on 32s? You know nothing about the situation, what I paid for it, why I decided not to keep it, or anything else about it. Now I am not a car enthusiast as well? I'm sure you either still own every car you have ever purchased or sold it for exactly what you paid for it all in the greater interest of the hobby. Let's not get too far up on the soapbox.

    Agree'd ^

I have no interest in your vehicle, but to me what youre doing seems distasteful.. and immoral?

Youre not here to help people with problems, or to give someone a nudge in the middle of a project to help them keep goin, or just to shoot the breeze about traditional hot rodding, nor are you here with your own project.

Youre here just to sell vehicles that you find cheap, and make a profit off the members of this community, without giving anything back.

I'd feel like a douche if I was doing the same thing, to be 100% honest.

I don't think you are driving up prices of Deuces all by yourself. I think you along with the rest of the dealers are driving up prices. I don't think you are doing it singlehandedly. Like I said, I would never tell someone what they can or can't do with their car, but I can have an opinion. You're right, I dont know the whole situation, but let's be honest, in your first post of this thread, you definately gave the impression that you couldn't believe your luck at finding this car and (at least to me) gave the impression you couldn't be happier and would never give up the car. You never said this, but definately gave that impression. In describing how nice the car was, you stated you didn't even want to wash it. Which is rediculous. But it all makes sense to me now. You don't want to wash it because that would be putting an effort into the car which would be your time. Time is money to dealers and in the end would decrease your profits. Plus, why bother wash it, you weren't planning on owning it long enough. I actually do own every car I've ever bought(I'm not a dealer) except for one: a 67 chev nova ss. I sold it because it was a project that I new I couldn't and wouldn't finish as my interests had changed to early fords. I sold it for less than what I had in it too. Your interests clearly haven't changed as you are selling the car because of another early ford, as you state in your add. As far as what you paid for it, come on, please don't try and tell us you paid a fortune for it. There'd have been no money in it for you. My main point is that it's a shame somebody didn't get the car who intended on passing it down through their family as the original owner did without having to pa through the nose to you for it.

After reading this whole thread, I can actually see both sides. The OP may have had good intentions and just wanted to brag a little about his new found treasure. On the other hand I can see how some of you feel betrayed.

In the end it's his car and he can do with it what he pleases...I'm just glad to have seen another original deuce.
