We can decide what is likely or what is probable, but you can never say what is true from the evidence provided. None of us have any idea on the intimate details of how this car was obtained or what it was paid for.

If nothing else, for better or for worse, I am glad I at least got to see the story and pictures of the original car. I love cars that are original for their link to the past, not for their value, so this car was pretty cool to me.

On the other hand, no one really asked me what I thought anyway. I guess I'll just stick with, "It's purdy."

This may piss some of you off, But I agree with him, He did not need to post this car here to promote His ebay sale.....That quailty of a car will do just fine on ebay without any other advertisment, In his post here he never mentioned it being for sale on ebay, or being for sale at all...So giving him shit about what he does or doesn't do with a car that he owns Is out of line. Bottom line is it is his car if he wants to sell it, Then he has every right to do so......And if he makes a profit...Then good for him!....I personally will prolly never sell any of my 32's as I love them, And If I did You can bet your ass I would profit from the sale...And if I owned this one I prolly would not sell it either, But on the other hand, I am a hotrodder and It would be a hard choice to change this one, So if I did not sell it, I would be stuck with keeping it as is.....And I have been down that road before...And it sucks!..Maybe that is why he decided to go ahead and sell it?....I really do not know! Nor do I care!, But I for one am happy he posted it here As I might not have got to see it otherwise......As I don't look at cars for sale on ebay anymore.....Wife says NO more 32's!!....LOL.......

Is it just me or have there been a few 32 Fords lately that show up here as "finds of a lifetime" only to go to epay within a few days. Hell, the last one wasn't even off the trailer before the guy took pics and had it up on the bay. Might just be me but I agree that the owner is not in this hobby for the same intentions as most of us. All he can see right now is dollar signs so it goes up for sale. Too bad someone like me didn't find it because that would be a keeper for sure.

Nice score on a really nice old car !
I wanted to add 2 small humble observations : 1) If I had found that car , I could probably scrounge up the money to buy it . As much as it would hurt , I probably couldn't afford to keep it very long either though . Maybe litups situation could be similar , that's his business . He finds good stuff though !
    2) I believe 8dearborns knows of which he speaks ! That being said , nobody knows everything . But , he knows an awful lot !

Wow!.....It is amazing how many of you seem to care about what someone else does with a car that they bought and payed for and belongs to them.....If it bothers you so much Quit crying about it and put in your high bid and maybe you will own it!!....the reserve is not met yet but it is only bid up to $38,000.00....This car should break 40K as It is worth somewhere above that maybe even close to 50K.....As far as someone making him a stupid offer on here......I have bought and sold many high end cars, I personally can not afford to keep them, So they must be sold off to people who can....To give you a example...just about a week ago that real nice old 32 chopped coupe was posted on here for $28K....I was not able to get my bank financing in place in time, Or I would have bought that car and sold it for about $40K as it was well worth 40K, buying, selling and trading his how I have been able to support my hobby, without it, I prolly could not afford to own a old bicycle.....LOL.....I have yet to sell a high end car on here....Not saying it couldn't happen But In my opinion our site is not really a place to move high end cars.....None of us know this mans situation, So all this neg talk about him is Wrong.....I mean dosen't it make more sense to Know what you are talking about before running someone down....Just my 2 cents

X2... It's his car to do with what he pleases. Hope the new owner keeps it the way it is,Though I wouldn't think somebody that pays 40K plus for a car would chop it up.

I thought I would let everyone know this car will not be cut up in any way.
I will be updating the brakes with a Lincoln kit ,reverse the spring eyes,12 volt, tube shocks, new firestones.,new iternals in the distributor.I know nothing about B engines,I will learn quickly.I am excited about getting this car home sorting it out and putting some miles on it.I am not interested in putting it away to look at.Ilike to drive them.If this 32 puts a smile on other rodders faces all the better.Aussies are taking avantage of a $ that is 1.05+ to the USD at the moment it allows us for the first time in 30 years to look cars like this with a realistic chance of buying them. In the past our $ was as low as 50c to the USD and all we could afford was junk.
US rodders may or may not be aware we did not have 5 window coupes here in 32 nor did we get any of the other desirerable body styles in the years that followed.

    cheers David

  26. Have to think there are guys who'd give you both of their nuts to have that one. Take good care of it -

So the question now is, "Are all the naysayers pleased with the outcome?"

David where did the roadster go?

Has Knobby had that coupe out lately? I haven't seen it floating around.

Nice score on the coupe. I didn't see it on ebay but if you were after a good car to start with you would have trouble beating this one.

with that B motor , you will be leaving a week early to get there:D

The roadster was bought by Mark Lochie from Drouin . The B motor will be interesting, however it turns out I will be able to say been there done that.
I already have a coupe stock height nice body all the stuff, not too much to get it on the road, however I want to build a traditional hotrod,or I might say real hotrod. And this is the right start,it has had no one elses hands on it yet.
It will be sad to see the roadster go ,however I put a lot of miles on that car and had a ball doing all of them, time for other things.
All I can say is stay tuned for further developments there is something else in wind.
    cheers David
