Is there anyone making reproduction 1932 front frame horns? I need a left/drivers horn for a frame I'm working on. I see several places offering them for the A's but I haven't found anything for the B. I wrote to American Stamping but they don't make them.

I would call around to local hot rod shops. Recently got a frame made by blackboard Hot rods that bobbed the frame horns and tucked them in. So I know they have a set laying around somewhere.

That was the next step if I couldn't find them on the web. I thought the same thing, "what happened to all the horns that were lopped off?" Gotta be a bunch stuffed in shelves. Thanks!

Thanks all for the feedback. The folks at Irontrap had a set but advised if I'm trying to match the factory horn the reproductions would not be a good match. So, I will continue the quest for a stock one for now. Thanks again.

Also R Jays does a pinched and bobbed chassis so he should have front horns?

I'm curious, why is there a market for those pieces? For building your own frame?

Most likely for damaged or hacked up frames. Fronts get bent, bobbed or completely removed and rears are cut off when channeling a body.

Its due partially to the trend of drinking the "traditional" kool-aid, a lot of cars are being returned to more of a hot rodded but stock appearing theme since their "street rod" period.

Appreciate the heads up on these and I reached out to them, but was told if I want it to match the stock right side, I would be disappointed. Not sure what the major difference is but I'll take their advice and keep looking, at least for a while. Thanks again.

If the Iron Trap Garage horns are off a pair of ASC rails there is a slight difference in the vertical height of the rails from side to side. Never caused a problem but we discovered it when we took one rail to the laser cutters to get scanned for boxing plates and when I got a hundred plates cut my frame boxer came over to my side and said there's a problem, plate doesn't fit both sides. Required a slight trim.
