hello. 1. can i use a piece of 60 inch long 3/8ths brake line with one end cut off hooked to a piece of rubber line to the fuel pickup? 2. the other end would have an adapter and be hooked to a filter ***y from napa like this one: http://www.napaonline.com/NOLPPSE/(S(favqpl551yr2ax45yw5inl55))/Detail.aspx?R=FIL4101_0006473380 3. then another adapter and another piece of 3/8ths brake line with the other end hooked to the fuel pump? would this be ok? also any pics of your fuel filter ***embly? or pics of your 32 ford fuel system. running a chevy 327 with 3 holley 94's. thanks
The parts store I use has 72 inch lines ( Car Quest ) ... I run a line from the fuel pump ( mechanical pump ) back to a fuel filter ... And then on back to the fuel tank. This way the only junction is the fuel filter. I always end up using original 32 Ford fuel tanks ... so a fuel filter is a good idea in my book. Then a small section of rubber gasoline rated fuel line from the 3/8ths hard line to the fuel line on the tank. I positin mine so I can replace and access the rubber line from the bottom of the car with the body installed.
