1932 Ford pickup

  1. City: Nanaimo British Columbia Canada

    State: International (Australia, Canada, etc...)
    Price: 25k usd
Sold and heading to Europe in the spring
Pickup is located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia Canada and would be an easy import into the US and I can ***ist moving it international. I have had several people ask if it’s for sale and have now decided to let it go. It was at Deuce Days in 2022.
All original Henry steel traditional build, that has many bumps, bruises, past repairs etc. so not perfect, a time saver on washing and waxing !
C69A that was rebuilt by Bill Boomer in Saskatchewan. 4” Merc crank, Ross racing pistons, L100 cam, stainless Chevy valves, bored to 276, original Edelbrock regular intake which isn’t being reproduced, new barn find Stromberg 97’s, Reds Headers, Grace and co. air cleaners and Wittek fuel clamps instead of hardware store worm style ****.
Very rare and difficult to find, Stewart Warner mechanical tach drive and SW 4K tach.
Original Moon fuel block and a Filter King fuel px regulator. Runs excellent with no hesitation or over heat issues.
Boling Brothers Lincoln style hydraulic brakes on all 4 corners.
    Straightened, trued 35 wires with 5.50 x 16 front and 7.00 x 16 rear Coker stones.
Houdaille lever style shocks on all 4 corners.
Posie front and rear lowered springs.
Original rear, front and K cross members.
Original excellent condition commercial grill with near impossible to find, correct, commercial radiator cap. I was offered $1000 usd for the cap at Deuce Days last July in Victoria and they are not being reproduced.
Original commercial duo lamp headlights, new reflectors with signals and original commercial headlight bar. Original 32 heavy axle, original spindles.
Converted to 12 volts with generator mounted original 32 fan and new cloth covered wiring harness.
    Recored original 32 V8 radiator.
Original Henry Ford hood and I normally drive it with it off to show off the flattie.
    Rebuilt 39 transmission.
Rebuilt 32 rear diff with 3.54’s.
    Electric wiper.
Front end and custom dual exhaust completed by Jeremy Mang at Victory Rod and Custom on Vancouver island.
The frame has no reveal and is factory.
    NOS mechanical fuel pump.
Drives down the road straight, stops and starts as an old truck would.
    30k usd or 40k cdn.
Registered as a 1932 Ford model B pickup in British Columbia in my name.
Once again, the truck is far from perfect and more of a survivor that was repainted many years ago.
I am seeing ads @ 12-15k for a roller with no drivetrain, 5-7k for a cab with doors and at least 10k + for a motor in similar condition. 32 Henry pickup rear fenders are near impossible to find and these are originals. Try and find an original commercial grill as nice as this one let alone the rad cap.
Add up the extras to bring it to drivable condition and this is reasonably priced for a 32 pickup you can drive and bring it up to your standards if that’s what you need. You can’t replicate it for my asking.
You could pull the body, put your roadster, sedan or coupe body on the frame and drive it, then sell the remainder.
Probably lots that I have forgotten and I will update when something comes to mind.

  2. Australia, Europe, Japan, Sweden……

  3. Drive it home and your neighbour's will hear you before you get there

  4. Running fantastic on a morning drive on the island IMG_0446.jpeg

    Scooterville and guthriesmith like this.
  5. I would let it go for $28 k usd or $37 k cdn without the tach drive, tach cable, tach or hood. Making room for another project and not a fire sale.

  6. Bump….27k without the rad cap, tach drive, tach, tach cable or hood. P***enger cap fits perfectly if it’s not a concern.

  7. Save the time, drive today and make it your own.

  8. Selling the pickup to fund a roadster, rails are patiently waiting.

Spent some time dialing in the flattie over the last couple of days. Fuel px, idle mixtures and some routine maintenance plus reinstalled the mechanical fuel pump with a nos one. Best it has run since it’s been on the road. Soon to be put away for the rainy season.

  10. Price on my 32 pickup as been lowered to $25k usd or $35k cdn as I have found something to replace it. Please see my profile for a complete description. It is located in Parksville British Columbia Canada which is on Vancouver Island. I can deliver it to the Blaine Washington border, Canadian side, which will save at least $1200 usd. This pickup is registered in British Columbia in my name as a 1932 pickup.

  11. Sold and heading to Europe in the spring
