Some more Dynamat finishing off the doors and back panel. This week I hope to finish the majority of the wiring and keep moving on the upholstery.

The green really pops against the chrome wheels, white walls, and white upholstery. Looks like a 60's show car to me. Really sharp.

Some progress on the interior and Dynamat install. I think Dynamat is a great product but it is boring as hell to install. Should be worth it, even on a roadster. I know I loved it in my '52 Chevy.

I also have been working on the steering. My original plan to use the ram horns will cause interference issues. I planned on going to lake pipes or something similar. Looks like that will be sooner than later.

I also just got the promotional posters for the Flying Eyeball Reunion in Davenport, IA this coming August. I am pretty excited to already see my car in print.

I scored the foam from JoAnn fabrics. Once in a while they put it on sale at 50% off. That shit was still over $100.00 total. I used 4" High Density with a 1" Medium Density (white) over it. Pretty comfy so far.

More interior work again tonight. I made the rear panel from a flexible water-proof plastic. I then finished the Dynamat and cut the carpet pad. Also included is a teaser of the dash.
The goal is to finish the wiring this weekend. Next Friday, I leave for the first show of the year in Monticello, IA.

Carpet in and Door Panels installed. I was going to do a pleated vinyl section under the smooth vinyl and split by green piping but it looked too street-roddy. I always liked the 60's interiors that were pleated from top to bottom.

I like Cains Stuff, he is relatively close to Pittsburgh. Well Fredonia NY, but I have one of his frames going under my next build. Reasonable prices. Nice that he is regional.

Looking good, glad you are able to adjust to suprises, as happens in any build, and the hands on that you and the mrs are both doing. Trust me, if you havent done something before, try it. You might find out how good you can be at it. :)

Thanks Beav. The upholstery is far from perfect but decent, especially considering this is my first one ever.

I think the top makes it!

Yes, it will be white, just doing a trial fit.
