I think the car Joel is towing is on the way to St Louis. He was towing a 32 roadster with a 32 roadster. The rear car was Rich Sherman, later to become the Gary Kessler car,now the Don Ward car since 1972. Was 1 of 75 for the 75th anniv. Joel has good stories and lots of photos.Nice fella too, ****.
i know its been posted endless times but...I love the stance and overall look of this one known as the iron man roadster...
Here's one I've been admiring a lot lately. Seems like it's a lot easier to make a full-fendered Deuce roadster look good than a highboy. -Dave
Hey! Now thats a compliment!! A few more details here? http://www.vhra.co.uk/VHRA/Members/Pages/Shaun_Hoyle.html I personally think the shape of the fenders is absolutely cl***ic design and adds a great deal extra to the body shape! Cheers, Shaun
Here's some pics of my grandpa's old roadster that he had in the '40's. I know the pic at El Mirage was in '47, and the other pics were probably taken around the same time near his home in Hollywood.
Damm! I like them all. HOW MUCH ARE KIDNEYS GOING FOR ON THE BLACK MARKET THESE DAYS? WTB 32 Highboy, will trade right kidney
