You have to give Dick Scritchfield all the credit for making that red 32 hiboy so famous! After he bought the McGee car, he was the one that made the B'ville record for S/R class, & held it for 5 yrs. or so. Then went on to TV, & movies, not to mention founder of the L.A. Roadsters club!----------Don:)

  3. I like mine alot, I think I nailed the top, took some doing cause I don't like the Bop Tops they sell, I can spot one a mile away, I wanted a top that actually looked like a original chopped 32 top. What do guys think?

Oh and I like Bobs Roadster alot!

Looks good Rudy but i really like the shape of the bop top thats why i went with one. Dont matter now cause mine should be leaving the garage for the east coast in a couple weeks.

Gotta agree, the Nitti roadster is about the best there ever was in terms of style.

In the post just above, the silver colored car, what is the filler/screen/? in the hood top frames?

  13. Paucho, as our "Old" friend John says, "There are only so many sunny days left" so when the sun is shinning, I've got to get out in the Roadster.

29 bowtie, The old Standard Station is in Bow-Edison, on the south end of the Chuckanut Drive on the way to LaConner. A great sunny day drive in a Hot Rod.

Spike took these of my car. One on the track at Latimore, the other near Bonneville.

  29. This car is glass Bianchi... it don't count! Hahaaaa...

  30. Here is a pic of my car with its turq paint and lower stance. Decided agaist the stance and replaced everything with original parts, or slight mods. I also scraped all the old perfect 60's paint off and exsposed old black laquer. Mocking car uo today...should have a roller by weeks end if wires dry and tires get mounted.

2nd pic is a 32 I redid... and my x girlfriend. She had a mustache...
