Technical 1932 Ford Tailgate Hinge Bracket Position

Hey all,

Tailgate is almost back from paint and about to mount the 3 hinge brackets. Not sure if the long end of the bracket goes up or down. I could wait for the tailgate to get here but trying to get a jump on things. Can someone peek at theirs for the correct position?
