Changing out the small headlights on my 3 window for Vintique 1932 style. Couldn’t get them to point straight ahead. Pointed up. Called my friend and all round mechanic. And he advised the headlight bar needs to be turned around. This is my 4th 32 and I have run into this once before on smaller lights but jerry rigged them to work. I learned something today.

Cup on the Head Light Bar faces down ward angle facing forward.
& on most all Newer aftermarket bars the head lights ( flutes on gl***) will be crooked, modifications will need to be done to straighten.

To get headlights in the position I wanted them there are a couple alternatives.
One is to modify the slot that the mounting bolt rides in.
And/or remove the rivets that attach the mounting cup to the headlight bucket. Then redrill the holes in the mounting cup, so that the bucket is rotated so the lens is more vertical.
    Hope this helps.

It's easy to put the headlight bar on backwards, I've done it myself. HRP
