I have a '32 Roadster; stock firewall with the stock throttle linkage bolted to it.
I have a pair of Stromberg 97's bolted to a vintage dual intake.

Anyone have a recommendation on linkage that attaches from the firewall to the rear carb?

I ask as I currently have linkage that reaches to the front carb, though it would require me to cut off a small arm with a ball end on the rear carb....that gets in the way.

    Thanks! IMG_3475.jpg

Sorry about the dark picture but it is night in Australia.

If that doesn't tell you what you need I'll get a better shot in the morning.

If you look at my choke connection there is a rod that links the two choke levers. In the middle of that is another ball.
Maybe that setup might work for your situation.

My setup looks alot like yours...had the same interference with the rear throttle ball.
I used the same linkage you have but shortened it. You can see the stainless sleeve that I brazed over the joint. Works very well and is still "length" adjustable (left and right threads on the ends) without removing from carbs.

Just take your current rod to the hardware store and buy a threading die that fits its threads...probably 1/4", possibly #10, can't remember thread counts but either will be easy to find and cheap.
Saw off rod, run die over it, reinstall socket thing. Use either the straight half or the jogged half as needed to get altitude right.
