Well I have been looking for a long time for a 1932 rolling ch***is or a good start to a 1932 flathead roadster that I want to build. So I came across what I think as a good start. I will be jumping in the truck and driving from Boston to Indiana to pick it up. I'm looking forward to the drive I like to get some air and leave the city once and a while. I saw this for sale online not on HAMB but I put a deposit on it. It's an original 1932 frame that is Boxed, with a Model A crossmember, with a drilled 32 axle (not dropped), and split wishbones, 1939 rearend, 56 Ford pick up steering, with 32 firewall, 1932 Dash, 1950 Ford Flathead, Walker Radiator, I think a chevy s-10 5 speed, 32 gas tank, aluminum driveshaft, spreader bar, with 16 in whitewall wheels, I think it has some 40 juice brakes, new master cylinder. I'm excited about picking it up, I hope to make it out the first weekend of November. I hope to get all situated with the Ch***is and motor this winter. I hope to save some money and try to find an original steel 32 body but I may have to get an after market steel body. I know that fibergl*** is cheeper but I want a steel body. But I know I'm going to be asking a lot of questions and will be searching a bunch of threads. I will post two pictures that were sent to me by a phone. i'll have pics of it when I pick it up. I've been bitten by the elusive hot rod bug. I don't think I can sleep tonight i have all of the things i want to do on the build running through my head. I love it. :)

Looks like a good start! Nothing wrong with a Brookville Body. Welcome from CT!

    You have my attention.
Good luck with your purchase - I've bought a few cars online - most good, but a couple not so good.
I'm subscribing to stay tuned throughout the build - keep the posts comin'.
    Cheers.

    It's almost done ... :)

One thing for sure, is that the southern New England area has lots of early style rod shows to go to for inspration. Probably more shows than anywhere on the planet.
