1932 V12 Hot Rod

Discussion in 'New to the H.A.M.B.? Introduce yourself here!' started by Frenchy Dehoux, Mar 30, 2006.

  1. Hi everyone

I have just joined the H.A.M.B. I have been reading this site for a few months and decided to register and discuss my project. I am building a 1932 Ford Hot Rod all steel reproduction from Rod Bod. This one will be powered by a 1948 Lincoln Continental V 12 flat head engine with a 1939 Lincoln Zephyr. I have been working on this one for about 3 years now. The engine is just about done, next will be building an exaust system. The car will be painted gloss black with 4 inch wide white walls at the rear and 2 1/2 white walls at the front. Dual 97 Stromberg carb on a Edmunds intake manifold.1948 Ford truck rear end. I will be posting pictures of the car as soon as I can showing various stages. Thank You for reading my message.

    Thanks
    Frenchy ( Doctor Detail )

Hows that motor fit? A little lng isnt it? Have you priced ignition plates rotors ect? Part prices are scary to me but I'm willing to deal with it as my my zephyr still runs good. Post some pics I want to check it out! Dave

  6. Hi Dave

I have plenty of parts for these motors. So far I have built 10 of these V12 for friends while I was in the Zephyr club. This as been a dream for me to build a Hot Rod with a 12 cylinder just to be different.

    Thanks

Welcome to HAMB, I`ve seen your 32 . If it`s anything like your VW`s , I know it will be nice. I`ve noticed a lot of VW guys lurking here.I have several myself. I still like the Hot Rods..
